Deposit policy for private treatment :
For private treatment we may request a deposit of the treatment before booking usually around 50% or a proportion of the treatment cost. This deposit will go towards your treatment.
However, if you fail to notify us of cancellation or cancel within 24 hours without valid reason or you are too late and cannot be seen by the dentist or the hygienist we will take the deposit to cover costs of wasted chair time.
For specialist appointments (such as implants) the deposit required may vary from specialist to specialist, dependent on the stage of the treatment and type of appointment. Full details will be given throughout the treatment plans. see implant pricing guidance.
We have seen an increase in patients failing to attend their private appointments, in September 2023 983 hours of surgery time was wasted. Therefore we have enforced a deposit scheme into the practice to try and reduce this number.
