To our valued patients
As you may have heard, dental surgeries can now open from the 8th of June. Like yourselves, we only found this date from Boris Johnsons press release and not by our governing bodies until after the fact. We were anticipating a phased reopening in line with previous guidance but this has come as a surprise. We are so glad we can finally help our wonderful patients who have been so supportive during this difficult time but we kindly ask you all to be extra patient with us.
We will be opening on the 8th but only after making sure we have the correct PPE to ensure the safety of our staff and patients, but as you are aware this has been very hard to come by. We have over the last 8 weeks been refurbishing the practice for our patients and are currently ensuring that we have all the correct measures in place... so we can treat you as safely as possible. In line with our dental governing body guidelines and social distancing we have to operate at a reduced service. This means less surgeries running with fewer dentists, staff and appointments available.
Please understand that we have a huge back log of patients, many of whom require urgent care. We also have to follow strict dental guidelines that prevent us from carrying out the majority of treatments but there will be dentists on hand to offer advice . Please bear with us over the coming weeks as we have hundreds of patients to reschedule and we kindly ask you not to contact the practice unless it is urgent.
For those who have appointments please follow these guidelines:1) Please be on time, not early or late to prevent waiting around otherwise we may not be able to see you
We will keep you updated on this website and on facebook.
Looking forward to seeing you all in our newly refurbished practice and hope to get back to normality as soon as possible to serve our wonderful Saffron Walden Community
